Abstract and pixelated footage of flowers slowly moves across LEDs behind a plexiglass screen. As a result of the LEDs and plexiglass, the flowers loose their specific form but are still legible due to their bright colors in contrast to the green leafy background. The footage for this work was shot in Claude Monet's garden in Giverny highlighting a connection between the two semi-abstract artists. In Campbell's work and many of Monet's paintings, color is the main way the viewer understands what they are seeing in the absence of a clear image/painting.
